  3. 500 gms Deveined Prawns
  4. 1 tbsp Beaten curd
  5. 1 tsp lemon Juice
  6. 1 tsp salt
  7. 1/2 tsp roasted cumin powder
  8. 1/2 tsp Garam Masala
  9. 1 tsp red chilli powder
  10. For Biryani Masala--
  11. 300 gms sliced onions
  12. 200 gms chopped tomatoes
  13. 2.5 cups long grain basmati rice
  14. 4 cups hot water
  15. 1 cup chopped mint and cilantro leaves
  16. 3 slited green chillies
  17. 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  18. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  19. 1 star anise
  20. 1 inch cinnamon
  21. 4 Cardamoms
  22. 2 bay leaves
  23. as per taste Salt
  24. 3 tbsp Ghee
  25. For Fish fry--
  26. 5-6 cleaned fish (I used red snapper)
  27. 1 tbsp chilli powder
  28. 2 tsp lemon juice
  29. 1/4 tsp garam masala
  30. 1/2 tsp coriander powder
  31. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  32. as per taste Salt
  33. as required Oil
  34. For Spleen fry--
  35. 2 medium sized spleen
  36. 1 tbsp chopped garlic
  37. 2 strands curry leaves
  38. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  39. 1/2 tsp Jeera powder
  40. 1 tsp pepper powder
  41. as per taste Salt
  42. as required Oil

Instructions to make to make Prawns Biryani Thali

  1. Soak the rice for about 30mins. Take a pan and add ghee, add cinnamon, bay leaf, Cardamom, star anise and fry till you get aroma. Then add slited green chillies and slited onions. Wait untill onion caramelised.
  2. Add ginger garlic paste and saute untill raw smell is no more. Then add tomatoes and all the dry masala mentioned including salt and close the lid. Cook untill tomatoes are mushy, then add the marinated prawns, mint and cilantro leaves.
  3. After adding prawns cook till prawn turns white and immediately add hot water. Once water is boiled add the rice and cook it open for 10mins untill you see rice is coming up. Then close the lid and cook on low flame for about 20mins. Yummy prawns biriyani ready.
  4. For fish fry, Mix all the ingredients together and make as paste. Apply the masala to the fish and marinate for 20-30mins minimum. Then shallow fry it on both sides on tawa.
  5. For spleen fry,boil the spleen in water for 15mins. After boiling check if it's cooked and remove the outer skin. Cut the spleen into cubes.
  6. In a pan add oil, add garlic and saute. Add curry leaves and all dry masala and add the spleen. Cook for 5mins and serve hot.
